Rootconf 2018

India's renowned conference on DevOps and IT Infrastructure

10-11 May 2018, Bangalore

The 2018 edition of Rootconf covers two major themes:

  1. Infrastructure and systems security.
  2. Infrastructure architecture.

The security track on 10 May will help you:

  1. To evaluate the (human resource and financial) costs of security for infrastructure.
  2. To conduct threat modeling for your infrastructure setup.
  3. How to work with third parties, such as telcos, to negotiate for better data and infrastructure security.

Infrastructure architecture track presents case studies of why organizations chose different approaches and tools to solve the problem of architecting different pieces of their infrastructure. These stories will equip you to evaluate whether the approaches work for your use case, thereby reducing the human resource, code and financial overheads of making such choices.

Apart from talks, we have put together Birds of Feather sessions on:

  1. Microservices – tooling, architecture, costs and culture.
  2. How to devise a container strategy for your organization?
  3. Mistakes that startups make while planning infrastructure.
  4. Securing your systems.
  5. Future of DevOps.
  6. DevSecOps - how does this work in practice, and how to apply this for your organization.

Come to Rootconf to:

  1. Learn how to avoid expensive mistakes when designing and maintaining your infrastructure.
  2. To network with some of the best systems engineers and DevOps programmers in India and South Asia.
  3. To talk to decision-makers and IT managers on how they plan infrastructure for their companies.
